Skull and Bones is postponed again

Ubisoft’s pirate game is struggling to set sail.

After being delayed multiple times in recent years, it is not particularly surprising that Ubisoft’s pirate game Skull and Bones is now being pushed once again. The game was now supposed to come in November, but the launch has now been moved to 9 March 2023. Then the game will come on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Stadia and Luna.

We recently got to see more of the game when Ubisoft dropped by with a presentation in early September. After this, Ubisoft has therefore decided that they need more time. The game should be finished, so the delay now is more about the final touches and some balancing that comes in the wake of playtesting in the last few weeks.

Skull and Bones has been in the mold at Ubisoft for quite some time. The game was first unveiled in 2017, and has had several periods of hiatus from the limelight since then. Only this year did the game reappear, with considerably more information about the kind of pirate fun Ubisoft wants to offer.
