This year’s edition of The Game Awards will take place on the night of Friday 9th of December. The curtain goes up at 01:30 CET, and next to the awards ceremony, chief organizer Geoff Keighley entices as usual with news and revelations from upcoming games.

Much of the program is still secret, but some developers have confirmed in the last few days what they plan to share from the show. Among these is Bandai Namco, which promises a new look at the fighting game Tekken 8.

The article continues below the Twitter message:

EA and Respawn are planning to show gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order is scheduled to launch next year, and based on the game’s Steam listing – which has since been edited – it looks like the release date will be March 15th.

Baldur’s Gate 3 will also be seen, developer Larian tells. The role-playing game has been in early access for over two years, and perhaps we will know exactly when the full version is launched next year.

Otherwise, Keighley foreshadows the constant barrage of celebrity appearances. Among others, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey will come, who may bring a new trailer for the TV series based on The Last of Us.
