THE NEXT MAJOR IS CONFIRMED

As expected, the Danish organizer BLAST will be the next to organize a Major tournament in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The tournament will be played from May 8th to 21st in the French capital, and the RMR tournaments will run from April 3rd to 9th. This will be the first Major tournament on French soil.

The French have traditionally been a major force in CS:GO and now that they get to organize their first Major, many will look to the international betting sign of Vitality, which houses two Frenchmen. Here, the home nation will probably also look to Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut for the team to be able to compete against the big advance favourites.

BLAST also goes out of their way to say that “this will be the best viewing experience at a Major, ever“, so let us hope for that, we do love a good proffesional viewing experience :).

Before we turn our noses at Paris, the best teams in the world will of course go to Brazil and Rio de Janeiro for the last Major of the year, where FaZe Clan and Håvard “rain” Nygaard will try to defend their title.

Stay tuned PeepZ =).
